Taste of Monteverde

Let’s explore the Costa Rican cloud forest! In this journey, we drive 3 hours to Monteverde, an area founded by Costa Ricans and some Quakers that moved from the USA in the 1950s. We start the morning by walking through the cloud forest, full of pure, fresh air and known for its biodiversity. Hanging bridges provide a view of the forest canopy. This hike takes about two hours, and there are eight hanging bridges with breathtaking views. When we finish our walk, we will refuel with a delicious lunch. This is followed by an afternoon of adrenaline, ziplining at the top of the cloud forest with incredible views of the mountains. After this exhilarating experience, we will visit Santa Elena, the main town of Monteverde, where we will enjoy a delicious cup of local coffee while our tour guide shares more exciting stories about the area.
